The lobby in the Laycock Center will be open to the public on home football Saturdays from one hour prior to kickoff until kickoff.  Fans are invited to enjoy the display featuring the history of William & Mary Football, a highlight DVD of the 2009 season and a variety of team and individual trophies.  2010 Tribe Football posters will be available.

    We’re getting ready for the start of the 2010 W&M Tribe Football season and looking forward to another great year!  Our season kick-off meeting is scheduled for Monday, August 30th, 7:00 p.m. at Zable Stadium.  Head Coach Jimmye Laycock will tell us about the Tribe's upcoming 2010 season and will answer any questions you might have about the team and our opponents.

LAYCOCK’S WEEKLY RADIO SHOW

COMING TO BUFFALO WILD WINGS  

 

The Tide 92.3 FM and 107.9 BACH FM to broadcast “The Middle Peninsula Insurance Jimmye Laycock Show” Thursday afternoons this season.

Coming off one of the best seasons in school history, the appetite for William and Mary Football has never been greater. Tribe fans can satisfy their hunger on Thursday afternoons this season by listening to coach Jimmye Laycock’s weekly radio show at Buffalo Wild Wings in Williamsburg.

Beginning on Sept. 2, “The Middle Peninsula Insurance Jimmye Laycock Show” will broadcast live on the Tribe’s flagship stations – “The Tide” 92.3 FM and 107.9 BACH FM. The show will air at 12:30 p.m. during weeks the Tribe play this season. Longtime Tribe play-by-play announcer Jay Colley will host the broadcast from Buffalo Wild Wings at 4918 Courthouse Street.

William and Mary advanced to the Football Championship Series national semifinals last season en route to an 11-3 finish. Entering his 31st season as the head coach at William and Mary, Laycock has a 200-141-2 record with 12 postseason appearances at his alma mater.

William and Mary opens its season on the road against Massachusetts at 3:30 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 4. Listen to Jay Colley and Bob Sheeran call the action on The Tide 92.3 FM and 107.9 BACH FM.
